Can we act like yesterday never happened?

Yesterday, money went in and out, bets were placed, and debts were racked up. There are many philosophies and concepts that have circulated both before and during the day of love, all of them are for love.  A group of individuals strengthened their faith in love by giving and receiving gifts from one another. There was also the steadfast "awwn" community, which was always present to congratulate, feed, and collect from engaged couples.  Then there are those like us who behave as though yesterday never occurred. We believe a day will be forced out of the existential plane if its existence is denied.  In today's post-Day Valentine's scoop, some folks share their tales of finding or losing love on the holiday.  All of them desire anonymity, thus just their initials will be used. Please don’t laugh, yours is on the way πŸ˜‚ R: On Valentine's Day, my college boyfriend broke up with me, but he still bought me flowers and candies. He claimed he wanted the items for me so I

Image
After all the talk about freshmen and returnees comes the first topic of the year.  :  Love and Discovering Love in Chrisland. Directly addressing the current problem would seem to mean disregarding the new year, the proverbial "elephant in the room." Now to the buzz: Despite all the talk, love relationships in college can occasionally be overblown, and not everyone will find their husband or wife there. Most people don't find love at college, at that.  The schedule of classes and attempting to maintain classes is enough love interest for many people, if you ask me why. Then, if you inquire about my experience settling in College, Chrisland University is a school for reading and pure cruising, finding love in Chrisland is as simple as finding the fabled needle in a haystack.  Despite what some m

Do chrisland girls sleep?

Is there a substitute for sleep? I think these ladies have it. Have you ever wondered how girls went early for classes, left last, were always at the front and always answered questions? My height of confusion crossed a new threshold when I got to  college. For real girls over here  don’t sleep . I mean I may not be that serious but I am that serious (confused confusion🌝) but every time and every class girls are always up front….looking serious 🧐  I blame it on the motherly genes and their higher sense of responsibility, from a young age they act mostly well kept and well behaved.  While we guys dork it out for years till puberty,  I just thank God I am not a girl (sheesh).  Today is my birthday (dorkiness reinforced 🌺) I am quite happy with just being alive this year with all the things we as a country have being through. I am basically just on a low key level this year, living my dream blogging and talking πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Let me go for now I want to start an argument and watch it burn, I w

Imagine a world without music. ( General bants 1)

WHAT WILL A NON MUSICAL SOCIETY BE LIKE? Hey, my new post came into my head earlier than I expected. So here I am  trying my best to blog in the most grammar friendly way possible.  The topic yeah? Okay let us get to it, music for me and I expect, many others has always been my  personal  fortress of solitude ( forgive my bad superman pun will ya) I love every genre and I always love the immersive power of certain voices. Needless to say I tried singing once or twice, who am I kidding? I sang a whole  lot of bread dough, I even formed a rap band in high school. We were called one drop, I sang love songs, afrobeats,I even tried soul.  The point is I came out of that phase respecting musicians and the work they put into making their music. That's why no matter how bad the music may seem I listen because I have been there and tried to do that. Now imagine a world without those loud, sultry, lusty sounds accompanied by the quick and funky beats and strings.  At that time I will just wis
