Life from the eyes of: with lvrd j

An artist, startup entrepreneur and fine boy of the decade 😏.  Today on   life from the eyes of, we will be interviewing an upcoming artist, undergraduate and startup entrepreneur, lvrd j.  Hi, lvrd jπŸ€— can we know you? I am Joshua Bassey, Joshua Joseph Bassey also known as lvrd j. So what inspired the name lvrd j? It started from me following the trend of adding the prefix lvrd to usernames and making it into nicknames, when I was in year 10 or 12 I decided to go into music so I just thought of my ig username and that was it. What do you classify your genre of music as? Umm...I guess hip-hop mainly because I was really good at hip-hop but in this country for you to succeed you have to diversify and enter most of afrobeats and all. So I do afrobeats, hip-hop and RnB  So what  encourages you to do music? What I love doing the most was listening to music, So I thought why not make my own sound? And listen to it and then let others listen to it. So who are your role models in the music

Do chrisland girls sleep?

Is there a substitute for sleep? I think these ladies have it. Have you ever wondered how girls went early for classes, left last, were always at the front and always answered questions? My height of confusion crossed a new threshold when I got to  college. For real girls over here  don’t sleep . I mean I may not be that serious but I am that serious (confused confusion🌝) but every time and every class girls are always up front….looking serious 🧐  I blame it on the motherly genes and their higher sense of responsibility, from a young age they act mostly well kept and well behaved.  While we guys dork it out for years till puberty,  I just thank God I am not a girl (sheesh).  Today is my birthday (dorkiness reinforced 🌺) I am quite happy with just being alive this year with all the things we as a country have being through. I am basically just on a low key level this year, living my dream blogging and talking πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Let me go for now I want to start an argument and watch it burn, I w

You know that feeling when you’re in the bowling alley and the bowling ball hits you in the head repeatedly? Of course you don’t. Well I don’t know what I feel right now, I don’t really know how to describe the feeling. Before I go into that, have you guys tried macaroni and sardines with a little bit of soy sauce and fresh salmon? Of course you haven’t, same way I haven’t gotten the hang of college. But you see I can’t stop because I find it a trifle stressful, I mean look at my mates in government universities. They’re schools are as big as local governments, yet they still have joy in education and most of them succeed. They’re my inspiration to be honest, And also to all the federal university undergraduates reading this post I really feel for you guys and I hope  and pray that this strike won’t last long.  I know this topic might be contrasting to my feeling right now but, a man”s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.  I will be going to resume physically in school on Friday, and my exa

(Review corner) my top ten musicians for the first quarter.

What kind of music do you think I like? Probably Fuji or highlife 😎   If you have seen my last article  (if you haven’t…..may God have mercy on you), then this article won’t be weird to you (You’re still reading this one…coconut head go back and read the last oneπŸ™„).    I want to give y”all a quick rundown of my favorite musicians at the moment.. honestly they’re more than ten but I don’t want to bore myself and you guys so I just cut to the chase here. And this is my honest review i am not trying to force opinions or anything. That said and done, all dorks aboard let’s ride. 10) Charlie puth - Charlie Otto puth jr is an American singer, songwriter. Imagine a world without music. ( General bants 1)

WHAT WILL A NON MUSICAL SOCIETY BE LIKE? Hey, my new post came into my head earlier than I expected. So here I am  trying my best to blog in the most grammar friendly way possible.  The topic yeah? Okay let us get to it, music for me and I expect, many others has always been my  personal  fortress of solitude ( forgive my bad superman pun will ya) I love every genre and I always love the immersive power of certain voices. Needless to say I tried singing once or twice, who am I kidding? I sang a whole  lot of bread dough, I even formed a rap band in high school. We were called one drop, I sang love songs, afrobeats,I even tried soul.  The point is I came out of that phase respecting musicians and the work they put into making their music. That's why no matter how bad the music may seem I listen because I have been there and tried to do that. Now imagine a world without those loud, sultry, lusty sounds accompanied by the quick and funky beats and strings.  At that time I will just wis

First day in school (the dorky way) ( my life vlog 1)

First day in school (college) This topic is supposed to be the first thing you see in your English textbook as an average Nigerian high school student. First day in college, I had read lots of comprehensions on first days at school, work, new countries and a whole other stuff. Never knew the experience was jutting around the corner, after high school it took a year and a half before I gained admission into a university. I never wanted to study outside Lagos, but you see where there is a will at times there is no way. I had to study in a neighboring state in a fully residential university,  Chrisland   university. For those who live in Lagos, the name might be vaguely familiar or even very familiar. Let me break the ice for you, the university  was part of a chain of high end educational institutions in the country, basically it was the university of elites or so I was told their high schools and grade schools were super expensive. I never even dared to daydream about studying at their
